Those who have an opinion on this product can be divided into two camps. One view defends (and promotes) the Mosquito as a tool to get rid of loitering youth and thus inviting more customers into stores, shopping malls, etc. They believe this increases business and profits for the storeowners. And at the polar opposite end of the issue are those who believe this product is discriminatory towards young people and infringes of several of their rights.
