Our current project with the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse (CCSA) began in July of 2008 when members of the Young Decision Makers project attended a conference hosted by the CCSA. Here's a report of the events at the conference.
Unicef's website commemorating the eighteenth birthday of the UNCRC has a lot of cool information surrounding your rights including a version of the convention in "child-friendly" language.
One of the current projects of the YDM involves looking at a device that using high pitched sounds to deter young people from loitering in certain areas. Here's a website that contains information about the device.
The YDM project is currently leading a national child rights monitoring initiative. You can visit our project page for more information. The Get Ready for Geneva project is a project that is very similar to the one that we're currently conducting. It's a website with great resources to help you learn about your rights and how they're enforced
